‘Aspire to Inspire’ at Passmores Academy

On 18th May 2017 F4P delivered a day of F4p activities to Passmores Academy in Harlow, Essex. As part of the school’s ‘Aspire to Inspire’ day, 13 F4P coaches led a day of activities with messages of trust, respect and teamwork to 207 Year 8 pupils!

We got the day started with assemblies introducing F4P, touching upon the school values and the f4p ethos and work it does around the world. The children were mixed up with people they do normally work with throughout the day spent time getting to know each other, engaging their curiosity and encouraging those that did not want to get actively involved for one reason or another to still be a part of the team!

Trust and team building exercises started the day off before moving onto drills and exercises designed to emphasise positive play and teamwork aimed at enhancing life skills, sport skills, technical knowledge and understanding of F4p and school values.

Each group formed two teams which were given a name and played together in the afternoon football festival.  Competing teams had to attribute fair play points out of 5 to the opposition for each other, successfully embodying the spirit of fair play.
